Job Title: Clinical Staff & Outpatient Therapist, Master’s Level (PA License Preferred - LPC, LCSW, LMFT )

Hours: 9:30am – 2:30pm Monday through Friday (Day Program), Flexible Outpatient Therapy Schedule Monday-Friday

Salary: $24-$30/hour based on education and experience (Day Program) ; $53+/hour per individual outpatient client session

Overview: The Herrbrook Day Program at Winner’s Circle Center is a clinical and alternative educational environment providing individualized support with academic, organizational and motivational strategies for students aged 14 –21 who have been diagnosed with mental health disorders such as Autism, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, behavioral disorders or who require significant social, emotional or behavioral supports to achieve success in school.

Position Summary: Master’s-level and/or Licensed Clinical staff are the driving force behind mental health treatment and therapeutic experiences at Winner’s Circle Center. Clinical staff in the Herrbrook Day Program will collaborate with Teachers and Support Staff to facilitate student treatment planning, behavioral assessments, therapeutic interventions, psycho-education, crisis intervention, de-escalation, family/guardian communication, and coordination with other community services. Clinicians will nurture authentic and trusting therapeutic relationships with students such that maladaptive behaviors can be challenged in the moment and replacement behaviors can be modeled and practiced daily. Senior level clinical staff will lead the team in pro-actively supporting students individually and in small groups with academic and organizational tasks, social interactions, and emotional regulation. This role involves implementing mental health treatment plans, individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering modified or adapted instructional support, providing emotional and behavioral support, and leading the facilitation of therapeutic programming. Clinical staff will build positive relationships with students to model and promote consistent engagement in program activities including core academics; electives such as STEM, P.E. and FCS; and therapeutic activities such as Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Art, and Expressive Therapeutic groups; Social Skills and Life Skills, psycho-educational instruction, and Equine-Assisted Learning sessions.

Licensed and Pre-Licensed Clinicians may also have the opportunity to see outpatient clients on a flexible and personalized schedule. Outpatient therapy at Winner’s Circle Center can take many forms, and we take pride in being the antithesis to big-box counseling companies. Our tranquil, farm-based setting offers both indoor and outdoor therapy options including walking with your client through open fields, spending time with therapy animals, or talking through life’s challenges in a comfortable office. We provide paid weekly group supervision by an LPC (Approved to supervise hours towards clinical licensure) and highly value and encourage collaboration among team members.

Please note: Winner’s Circle Center, Inc. is located on a working farm, and Clinicians will work with students and clients indoors and outdoors as well as with dogs, horses and other animals.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education, and/or a related field
